United States Healthcare System: An Inspire Series

Axene Health Partners, LLC (AHP) has published a multipart report on the state of the United States healthcare system. The actuarial and clinical consultants who comprise AHP came together to proactively address the challenges facing the U.S. healthcare system in the reform environment.

"Healthcare reform is a complex issue," said AHP founder and partner David Axene. "We felt the best way to work through these challenges was to dig into each issue from both a clinical perspective and actuarial mindset. This resulted in a report that underscores the interdependencies of the healthcare system and some interesting new ways to think about how we address change."

Each of the included articles is stand-alone in that it is fully understandable on its own, but all articles play together to give readers a basic understanding of our healthcare system as a whole. The topics included are not comprehensive, but they do represent many of the foundational elements of the current system.
