Colonial Care Center Hires Lou Driver as New Administrator

Colonial Care Center is pleased to announce that Lou Driver has been hired as the facility’s new Administrator.

Lou is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator and has been since 1999. She went to school at Texas State University and received her Master’s Degree in Social Work and Healthcare Human Resources. She has had a passion for long-term care since she was 10 years old, volunteering at nursing homes and working on advancing her career in the healthcare industry. While at Colonial Care Center, Lou’s responsibilities will include overseeing all of the day-to-day aspects of running a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. Lou said she is excited about her role at Colonial Care Center and wants to make the facility the best it has ever been.

“I really like the homelike environment,” Lou said. “Everyone works really hard to ensure our residents are happy and being taken care of. Everyone feels like a family here.”

Penny Beiersdorfer, Assistant Director of Nursing, said Lou’s experience will greatly benefit the residents and staff at the facility. “She is a hard worker and knows how to be a good leader,” Penny said. “Her passion for caring for our residents and her work ethic inspires our staff to be the best they can be, and it shows in everything they do.”
