Elmwood Villagers are WNY’s biggest movers, while East Amherst residents prefer to stay put

Residents of Buffalo’s Elmwood Village like to move around, with more than a quarter of them changing addresses in a given year. But people in East Amherst prefer to stay put, with nearly 94 percent keeping the same residence from year to year, according to the latest federal statistics.
