Portland, OR - August 21, 2017 - (Newswire.com)

Music can change the world. It is transforming the lives of children who need wheelchairs — but are unable to get them — through the non-profit group Musicians for Mobility

The group holds an annual concert to raise money for families who have family members with special needs. This year, for the second time, Archer Security Group is providing support for Musicians for Mobility so it can continue its mission.

"Being able to support a cause that helps children and adults alike be more mobile in ways that is beyond their means to achieve is an absolute honor,” said Stacy Bresler, managing partner of Archer Security Group. "We are blessed to be able to help support Musicians for Mobility as they grow year after year helping more and more people!”

Musicians for Mobility is holding its seventh annual Summer Jam Concert in Roseburg, Oregon on August 26. It will be on the outdoor stage of the Arts Center of the Umpqua Valley Arts Association from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Cloverdayle, the “Nashville duo with Northwest roots,” will headline the concert.

Musicians for Mobility has raised money for wheelchairs, wheelchair ramps, walkers and even a service dog for families in Douglas County, Oregon. They also pay for gas for families who can’t afford fuel to make it to specialist appointments in other cities.

"Imagine for a moment you are the parent of a special needs child who has been turned down for what we would consider basic needs and you don’t have the means to provide them for the child yourself,” said Julie Hammond with Musicians for Mobility. "It is our goal to be able to provide assistance to more families, more often."
