New nuclear plant remains a possibility in Duke Energy’s long-term plan

Plans Duke Energy filed with N.C. regulators include a proposal for a 1,117-megawatt nuclear plant to come on line around 2032 despite last week's decision to cancel the Lee Nuclear Station project .
