Notebook: Legal beat everything it’s cracked up to be

It’s been nearly five months since I started as editor of the Buffalo Law Journal and it’s been quite an experience so far. I can say without hesitation that the legal beat is unlike any other beat I’ve covered in my journalism career, and the more I get into it, the more fascinating it becomes.
