J&J bows to Medtronic, will exit insulin-pump market

The med-tech company will shut down its 410-person Animas Corp., which made the Vibe and OneTouch Ping insulin pumps, citing increased competition. It'll offer customers the option of transferring to a Medtronic-made pump.
