British pound drops, set for worst week in a year on talk of early U.K. election

The pound continued to weaken Friday on speculation that early elections are a growing possibility in the U.K. over a growing lack of confidence in Prime Minister Theresa May. Meanwhile, the dollar is gaining ahead of jobs data.
