UPDATE 1-UK's Ofgem says will work with government to lower energy prices

LONDON, Oct 11 (Reuters) - Britain's energy regulator Ofgem said on Wednesday it would work with the government on Prime Minister Theresa May's plan to cap the most common form of gas and electricity tariffs, after it moved to protect the most vulnerable households.
