Amazon's wind and solar farm initiatives help power Amazon Web Services (AWS) with renewable energy. AWS is the backbone of many internet companies and is a huge part of Amazon's business outside of retail. Amazon's ultimate goal is to reach 100% renewable energy for AWS using wind and solar power.
