The Bay Area’s Resilient by Design challenge was an open call for multidisciplinary teams to take part in a research and design challenge for large scale infrastructure projects in the region that could withstand the environmental challenges of climate change. The Business Times spoke to AECOM Global Cities Director Stephen Engblom about how his team is looking to develop a vision of the Bay Area’s infrastructure future.
