McBee Welcomes Mike Kovar as Director of Acute Consulting

​​​McBee announced Mike Kovar has joined the firm as Director of Acute Consulting. He brings more than 30 years of experience specializing in revenue integrity--improving financial and operational outcomes for acute providers.

As a nationally recognized expert, Kovar focuses on a wide array of revenue cycle initiatives, including charge capture and charge master pricing and revenue improvement strategies. Over the course of his career, he has conducted more than 300 CDM reviews for several hospitals and health systems across the country.

Prior to joining McBee, Kovar worked for various firms including KPMG, EY, and Grant Thornton.  Additionally, he is also known for leading “charge build” projects for both Epic and Cerner system installations and conversions for health systems.
