American Airlines pilot scheduling error puts thousands of holiday flights at risk

Raleigh-Durham International Airport's No. 2 airline in terms of passengers, American Airlines, is hustling to avoid disruptions and offering extra pay after a scheduling glitch allowed too many pilots take vacation at the same time, putting some holiday flights at risk of cancellation.
