Feds crack down on MS-13, but immigration policy lets new recruits in, figures show

The encouraging signs that federal law enforcement is making a dent in MS-13 membership may be tempered by the fact that as some 214 gang members have been taken off U.S. streets, the Office of Refugee Resettlement in the 2017 fiscal year placed more than 40,000 Central American unaccompanied teenagers around the country.
