Spirit Aerosystems to invest $55.7M on North Carolina expansion

After years of dampened expectations in Kinston, Kansas airplane parts manufacturer Spirit Aerosystems is again announcing a major investment in eastern North Carolina: a $55.7 million expansion at the state-owned Global TransPark.
