We’ve created Botanika Marrakech to represent the best of both old world and new world techniques. Our Argan fruit is hand harvested by Berber women’s coops, providing vital work for rural women. The seeds are then processed in the world’s first and only fully automated production machine. Highly customized, fully automatic equipment opens the kernels, removes the seeds, and feeds them into the press. The press extracts the oils in a first cold pressing, at a temperature of less than 28 °C—so called extra virgin oil. We believe that the result is one of the highest-quality oils available anywhere.
