Taylor has long been frustrated that colleges don’t teach fundamental financial principles to students, and he thinks this book is a great way to get that message out. “At no point in their education process are students exposed to the best practices when it comes to making sound financial decisions, so they enter the ‘real world’ and begin their careers not knowing what to do.” Taylor says, “They either get lucky, or more times than not, people make poor decisions that cost them a lot of money and headaches.”

Speak to people on their level. If nothing else, give them resources in a manner that is palatable that they can learn and put into practice. I don’t know that there is anything like that in the marketplace.”
