The Car Chick, LeeAnn Shattuck Appears on Business Innovators Radio’s Making Major Moves in the Marketplace with Ed Bracey

Making Major Moves in the Marketplace, a popular radio show on Business Innovators Radio, was graced recently by the presence of well-known automotive expert LeeAnn Shattuck. Having made her name as an entrepreneur, speaker, author, radio and television host, and race car driver, LeeAnn is known around the world as “The Car Chick.” In an interesting discussion with the show host Ed Bracey, LeeAnn spoke in detail about her illustrious career.

In the show, LeeAnn mentioned that her passion about cars started as a toddler. By the time she was eight years old, her father started teaching her about different types of cars and their mechanisms. However, LeeAnn mentions that she never expected this interest to turn it into a business.  

Today, LeeAnn is the proud owner of a unique car buying service, dedicated to helping women and men get a great deal on the perfect car without all of the hassle and frustration that comes with traditional car shopping. Passionate about educating people about cars, she loves empowering her clients to help them make informed decisions when purchasing, selling and servicing automobiles. Through her business The Car Chick, LeeAnn offers many talks and workshops for women (and men) who want to learn more about cars and car shopping. She is also available for speaking engagements around the United States.

LeeAnn also informed that she has been an avid auto racer for almost twenty-five years. She has raced successfully in road course, rally, AutoX, Legends, karting and drag racing events. In 2016, LeeAnn’s team came in 3rd (podium finish) at the LeMons race at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama followed by a 4th place finish at Carolina Motorsports park in Kershaw, SC.

LeeAnn Shattuck has been featured on dozens of national radio and television programs.  She hosted the internationally syndicated radio show “America’s Garage” for 8 years, and currently hosts “The Straight Shift” podcast, and the internet channel, “Car Chick TV”. In 2013, she starred in the Speed Channel’s reality show, “R U Faster Than a Redneck”, alongside comedian Jon Reep, NASCAR legend Kenny Wallace, and Dukes of Hazard star John Schneider.  Right now, she is busy producing and hosting a new reality show called “Rust Rescue” that is about restoring classic cars on a $10,000 budget.
