AMD shares continue surge as Intel takes a bruising over 'Meltdown' flaw

Chipmakers Advanced Micro Devices and Intel Corp. continued to be the top movers on Bloomberg’s Silicon Valley High Tech Index on Thursday, Jan. 4 as the fallout from the “Meltdown” and “Spectre” vulnerabilities continued for a third day.
