Intel CEO promises to fix massive chip flaw by the end of the month

Intel has spent the last week doing damage control, after researchers said a feature inherent in a number of chip designs, including designs from Advanced Micro Devices, could be exploited to give hackers access to otherwise restricted areas of computer memory used to store passwords and other data.
