Two Illinois banks to merge in $62 million deal

CNB Bank Shares Inc., which operates CNB Bank & Trust, said Thursday it is buying Jacksonville Bancorp Inc. (Nasdaq: JXSB), parent of Jacksonville Savings Bank, in a $61.6 million deal that is expected to close in the second quarter.
