Verizon quarterly revenue, subscribers beat estimates

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Verizon Communications Inc on Tuesday reported quarterly revenue that exceeded analyst estimates as it added phone subscribers, and the company's chief executive said it was not currently considering a large media acquisition.
