Wednesday Sector Laggards: Airlines, Semiconductors

In trading on Wednesday, airlines shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 2%. Helping drag down the group were shares of United Continental Holdings (UAL), off about 11.4% and shares of Alaska Air Group (ALK) off about 6.9% on the day.
