Early Look: What to expect when CATS opens Blue Line Extension next month (PHOTOS)

Ahead of its official opening to the public next month, the Charlotte Area Transit System previewed the Blue Line Extension to nine riders selected for a focus group to get feedback on the extension. The BLE is opening for revenue service on March 16. The $1.2 billion extension will add 9.3 miles and 11 stations to the existing north-south line.
