9th March, 2018 - A project born out of life experiences, where women from all walks of life come together with one voice to tell their story of survival and testimonies.
They were pushed to the ground 100times, yet they got back up 1000 times because their strength lied in been a woman, this project is called “Tears To Purpose Monologue Movement”.
It is a project that is going to spread across the Nation, all the voices of the women that were told to shut up will be heard in harmony, how beautiful that will sound.
The fights for survival and how they had to have faith to push past the pain and brokenness in their lives.
All this movement was made possible by a woman, the founder of this project, who birthed this out from the pain of once homeless and living in the main shelter of Washington Dc.
She experienced firsthand what it was like to have to adapt to a whole another life other than hers, yet this gave her strength to connect with another woman to help them move past their pain and learn how to activate their visions in their struggle.
The movement will definitely be breathtaking because it has been well thought out and also very sentimental because of women choosing to reach back and help another woman or young lady.
The founder of this project Lakia Barnett Is an author of slay pray believe and radio show host to facing purpose radio show that airs week after week in over 170 countries nationwide, also recently becoming an owner of custom-made radio and has no plans of stopping or slowing down.
Lakia has been featured in the Washington Informer newspaper and has interviewed with podcast shows and has been featured in two magazine articles.
She is also launching her first conference later on this year, the plans is to raise 10,000 to be able to continue to push the movement to get everyone to see these great women with breath taking stories and to go back and visit the safe houses and talk with the women in the shelters and push encouragement into the next goal in their destiny.
