All clear for takeoff: American Airlines backs down on opposition to $8.5B expansion at O'Hare

American Airlines Group Inc. relented on its effort to derail the proposed $8.5 billion expansion of O'Hare International Airport on Thursday, joining United Airlines and the city of Chicago in announcing it's supporting the expansion.
