Tesla shares nosedive as federal agency probes what happened in fatal Mountain View crash

Tesla shares plummeted more than 8 percent on Tuesday, to their lowest level in almost a year, after the National Transportation Safety Board said it had sent investigators to the site of a fatal crash last week on Highway 101 in Mountain View involving one of the carmaker's vehicles.
