Akamai names LogMeIn CEO to board of directors

The December appearance of Elliott, a hedge fund led by billionaire investor Paul Singer, marked the beginning of a period of uncertainty for Akamai. The tech firm has now announced two new board members in the past month, and said goodbye to board chairman and former CEO George Conrades.
