New World Development, a Hong Kong conglomerate, acquired a 4.29% stake in New Century Healthcare, a China pediatric and OB-GYN medical services provider. The stake, which was acquired from another investor, is worth $30 million. According to the companies, they intend to extend their holdings in pediatric/OB-GYN medical services, adding new hospitals and clinics through internal development and acquisitions.
