Other B Corp certified software companies include Hootsuite, Benevity and Fiix.
Similar to fair-trade or organic certification, B Corp certification is awarded only after a rigorous third-party assessment and audit. Early childhood professionals are systemically underpaid and undervalued. 43% of American preschool teachers using HiMama are under the low income threshold defined by the US Department of Education.
The average salary defined by payscale.com for preschool teachers is $12.36/hr, lower than dog walkers and many retail workers.
