With debt at $21 trillion and growing, ratings agencies still give US highest marks

The $21 trillion of debt the U.S. has amassed isn't weighing on the minds of credit rating agencies. In fact, both Moody's and Fitch in recent days have reaffirmed the nation's top-notch credit standing, reasoning that even with the massive pile of IOUs, the nation has sufficient other resources to keep its standing.
