Pet Cancer Awareness Month Saves Dogs and Cats

By: Get News

Dogs and cats are our friends, our family members and they need our help. Cancer devastates pets just as it does humans so we need to put our resources – money, time, and energy – into stopping pet cancer as much as we possibly can.

As it is Pet Cancer Awareness Month, Blue Buffalo is seeking contributions from everyone who would like to help their Foundation stop pet cancer.

The Blue Buffalo Foundation and the Pet Cancer Awareness Program were founded in 2004 to promote pet health and stop pet cancer.

Since then, in concert with The Petco Foundation, The Blue Buffalo Foundation has contributed over $11 million dollars for pet cancer treatment and research.

Some of this money goes to help families cover the cost of cancer treatment during their time of hardship.

Funds collected also go to awarding grants and funding research at top universities and organizations so that they can research, develop and improve upon treatments, and ultimately find a cure.

Pet cancer is the #1 disease-related killer of dogs and cats so it’s a disease that creates a sense of urgency, one Pet Cancer Awareness Month brings to the forefront.

You can help dogs and cats by donating today.

Visit BlueBuffaloFoundation.org to donate any amount you choose.

You can also help by telling others on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Blue Buffalo is calling for everyone’s help, this May, during Pet Cancer Awareness Month.
