Greenwich Stars Win Two National Basketball Championships



GREENWICH, Conn. - June 19, 2018 - (PressRelease.com)

The Greenwich Stars won two National Basketball Championships in the just-completed 2018 Zero Gravity National Finals Tournament in Boston, Massachusetts. The Stars 10U Boys Blue Team led by Coach Henry Ferrarin beat the East Side Escalades (New York) 40-31 in the Final and the Stars 13U boys team helmed by Coach Alex Peeler won the Championship over the Blue Wave (New York) 47-32.

The Greenwich Stars (Greenwich, Connecticut) brought five boys teams to the 2018 National Basketball Championships and for the second consecutive year, all the Stars teams made it to the Championship round (playoffs). The Greenwich Stars had a sensational record of 24 wins and only three losses in the 2018 Nationals Tournament – an amazing accomplishment that will surely be tough to beat. The Greenwich Stars have now won three National Championships and made it to the National Finals nine times.
