Turkey receives first F-35 from Lockheed Martin despite U.S. Senate opposition

The Republic of Turkey became the ninth international country to receive an F-35 fighter jet from Lockheed Martin Corp., even after an attempt by the U.S. Senate to block Turkey from acquiring the aircraft on Tuesday.
