Feds: Man posed as IRS agent to cash in $224K in Target gift cards

Federal prosecutors say a man posed as a worker from the Internal Revenue Service to trick victims into buying Target cards to pay nonexistent tax debts, then used the cards to redeem $224,000 in a matter of weeks.
