CATS moving into next phase of west, north corridor transit studies

Last summer, the Charlotte Area Transit System began new studies to reexamine two transit corridors as part of its 2030 plan — one going west to Charlotte Douglas International Airport and the often-contentious north corridor, extending up through north Mecklenburg County and into Iredell. CATS wrapped up its initial engagement with residents late last year and is gearing up to move into the next phase of public meetings with specific route alternatives.
