London, Jul 17, 2018 (Issuewire.com) - Parish Meeting is excited to announce the sale of Books & CDs of well-known comedy writer Neil Shand who wrote for esteemed presenters and comedians including David Frost, Bob Monkhouse, Spike Milligan, Jasper Carrot and many more.
The official date for sale is to take place at Whitton Village Hall on 4th & 5th August 2018.
Neil lived in Whitton prior to his death earlier this year and the bequest was made with the intention for the Parish to raise funds to support the facilities of the village where Neil spent many happy years.
The sale will be open from 10am 4pm on both days with cakes and refreshments available.
A representative of the Village Parish said, This very kind and thoughtful gesture is typical of Neil and shows how he appreciated the village and its community. Indeed, Neil was an active member of the community and contributed many witty and informative articles to the Whitton News Letter.
