Dr. Wassel completed his undergraduate education at George Mason University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in Fairfax, Virginia. He then went on to complete his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence, Ohio. Dr. Wassel then went on to achieve a Master’s degree of Science in Medical Education, focusing on Total Ankle Arthroplasty Curriculum for Podiatry Residents in Erie, Pennsylvania. Dr. Wassel recently completed a 3-year surgical residency at LECOM/Millcreek Community Hospital. This residency program has provided him with the highest possible level of education available for Podiatrists. He comes with high accolades from his peers and mentors.
