PG&E looks to offload more wildfire financial risk to insurers, capital markets

After facing liability more than a dozen wildfires in Northern California last October, PG&E said Thursday that its insurance premium costs are significantly higher and it plans to transfer some of the financial risk to insurance and capital markets in agreements in the coming days.
