Aussie dollar climbs as new PM ushered in; U.S. dollar dips ahead of Powell speech

The Australian dollar was a big mover on Friday, climbing after Conservative lawmaker Scott Morrison beat out Malcom Turnbull in a party leadership vote. The dollar was dipping ahead of a major speech by Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell.
