Julia Stewart-Gissy, a loving wife and pet owner from County Kerry, Ireland, has completed her new book “Lonnie the Lonely Mailbox”: a vivid story of Lonnie, an abandoned mailbox, his fateful friendship with Desi the Drone, and their adventure to finding new owners for the house the mailbox belongs.

Julia shares from her book, “Desi took some pictures of the empty house at 1667 Milton Street, then said goodbye. Desi would return from time to time, bringing messages from the other lonely mailboxes. At last! Lonnie felt connected to the world again, and his days were brighter and less lonely.”
