A.M. Best Senior Financial Analyst to Discuss Benchmarking Analysis at Insurance Accounting and Systems Association Chapter Meeting

A.M. Best will participate in the Insurance Accounting and Systems Association (IASA) Combined Metro NY/NJ and Mid-Atlantic Chapter Meeting, being held Oct. 1-2, 2018, in Atlantic City, NJ.

Sharon Marks, a senior financial analyst in A.M. Best’s property/casualty ratings division, will present a session, titled, “The Impact of A.M. Best’s New Rating Methodology on Companies,” on Monday, Oct. 1, at 3:10 p.m. (EDT). The presentation will highlight benchmarking results post-implementation of the revised Best's Credit Rating Methodology (BCRM), which has been in place since October 2017. Marks also will touch on how insurers are harnessing innovation amid a rapidly changing market.

The IASA is a non-profit, education association that seeks to create and provide to its members and participants a framework for best practices in certain insurance industry disciplines such as accounting, finance, risk management, investments, operations, technology and career skills.
