Viewpoint: What Boston must do to get more black lawyers

If the legal profession is ever to be as diverse as the nation it serves, a good place to start is Boston. Statistics show that less than 1 percent of partners at Boston’s largest law firms are black, up only slightly from 1997 and below the national average.
