NEW YORK - Oct. 19, 2018 - PRLog -- 2018 has been a productive year for M.O.U.N. Records CEO and Recording Artist Chas Bronxson. The singer/Songwriter/Producer has enjoyed many accomplishments after the release of his brilliantly composed debut album Group H.U.G.S. with the attention-grabbing singles "P.R.E.T.EX.T."  the titular song, "Group H.U.G.S."  tribute song, "R.I.P." (Radio's Incomparable Personalities) as well as an ode to Michael Jackson and other bygone legends in, "When They're Gone." In addition to releasing videos for the songs, Bronxson has been busy in the press with media appearances and featured stories.

In a series of current artistic wins, Bronxson winds up toward more success with the award for Best Music Video at the Pocono Mountains Film Festival on October 13, 2018. The trophy went to a compilation of three videos including his most popular, "P.R.E.T.EX.T."  the video for the indie chart climber (#14 DTR Charts) "I Miss My Daddy" with teen vocalist Haley Smith, followed by the comedic and catchy exclusive, "Dear Beyonce." The festival, held at the Mount Airy Casino Resort Hotel, featured long and short films as well as categories such as Best Documentary and Bronxson's own win—Best Music Video. The videos submitted are available on YouTube with the exception of "Dear Beyonce" which was a festival exclusive and will not be available for release until a later date. The crowd enthusiastically embraced his video's content, enjoying both thoughtful and enlightening subject matter, as well as Bronxson's turn at humor with "Dear Beyonce."

Says Bronxson of the event, "This was an unexpected honor and I'm grateful to have my work seen in this venue, not to mention being awarded. This is the first but certainly not the last film festival I'll be running my projects through, including my documentary project in development."

He has honed his craft through the years by perfecting some of the most syncopated harmonies in R&B, currently with his group, Lou York.

As 2019 fast approaches, the New Year looks to bring fresh music from both Chas Bronxson as an artist with a February release, "Things a Man's Supposed to Do," and more from Lou York.
