Uber has only a handful of woman drivers in Saudi Arabia, while local rival Careem claims 2,000

When Saudi Arabia's female driving ban ended, Careem and Uber launched major investments aimed at hiring women. The regional competitors took different approaches to recruitment, perhaps reflecting different viewpoints regarding ride-hailing's role in the social transition.
