Carmen & Geoffrey follows the astonishing five-decade marriage of Carmen De Lavallade and Geoffrey Holder and focuses on their careers as dancers, actors, choreographers and much more while NESHOBA tells the story of a Mississippi town still divided 40 years after the murders of three civil rights workers in 1964.
Subscribers to American Legacy Network will be able to watch these documentary films beginning November 1st. American Legacy Network is also currently featuring a documentary on former slave, sea captain and U.S. Congressman Robert Smalls produced by Doubleback Productions and The Doll, based on a short story by Charles W. Chesnutt and news-oriented programs and original programs like Conversations with Greatness hosted by JP Reynolds and Say it Loud, a program geared to millennials. In the future, the network has plans to showcase historical scripted dramas.
