Streaming Service Announces Line-Up of Documentary Films Being Featured Throughout the Month of November
MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. - Oct. 25, 2018 - PRLog -- American Legacy Network announced today that it will air several newly acquired documentary films on its network. Senator Obama Goes To Africa, Carmen & Geoffrey and NESHOBA will premiere November 1st on American Legacy Network.

Senator Obama Goes To Africa follows former President (then Senator) Barack Obama's African Journey & Homecoming to Kisumu, Kenya. Carmen & Geoffrey follows the astonishing five-decade marriage of Carmen De Lavallade and Geoffrey Holder and focuses on their careers as dancers, actors, choreographers and much more while NESHOBA tells the story of a Mississippi town still divided 40 years after the murders of three civil rights workers in 1964.

Subscribers to American Legacy Network will be able to watch these documentary films beginning November 1st.  American Legacy Network is also currently  featuring a documentary on former slave, sea captain and U.S. Congressman Robert Smalls produced by Doubleback Productions and The Doll, based on a short story by Charles W. Chesnutt and news-oriented programs and original programs like Conversations with Greatness hosted by JP Reynolds and Say it Loud, a program geared to millennials. In the future, the network has plans to showcase historical scripted dramas.
