OAKLAND, Calif. - Nov. 1, 2018 - PRLog -- STILL THEY PERSIST: Protest Art of the 2017 Women's Marches, is on view November 2 - 30, 2018, at  Pro Arts Gallery. Pro Arts is the Bay Area crucible for the spontaneous words and images, now icons, of the largest single-day of protest in United States' history, the date of the inauguration of the 45th president of the country. This exhibit calls out for recognition as this same nation approaches the mid-term congressional elections.

STILL THEY PERSIST: Protest Art of the 2017 Women's Marches is a traveling exhibition, crisscrossing the nation. The collection is inspired by The FemFour curators—Cincinnati-based arts and artists advocates—Sara Vance Waddell, Jaime Thompson, Calcagno Cullen and Maria Seda-Reeder. STILL THEY PERSIST is destined to share creative and documentary gravity unseen since the advent of the public art of the Name Project AIDS Memorial Quilt.
