Avalon Place Wharton Hires Racheal Martin as Director of Nurses

Avalon Place Wharton is excited to announce the recent hire of Racheal Martin RN, as the facility’s new Director of Nursing. 

Mrs. Martin has over 15 years of healthcare experience and has served in many roles since becoming a nurse in 2002.  Martin’s responsibilities at the facility will include overseeing the medical care of every resident and ensuring their individual needs are being met. She will work directly with the staff, residents and the community. Racheal said she’s excited to be part of the Avalon Place Wharton family and looks forward to working with the staff.

“I was born and raised in Wharton,” Martin said. “I have an opportunity to work in my hometown and give great care to the community I grew up in.” Racheal said she feels the Wharton community deserves a place that residents can receive great nursing care close to home. Racheal says she is honored to part of the Avalon Place Wharton team and looks forward to the upcoming challenges as they continue to grow.

When not at work, Martin enjoys outdoor activities such as fishing and deer hunting. She also loves spending time with her husband Bradley and three children, Brendon, Celeste and Addisyn.

Avalon Place Wharton is a nursing and rehabilitation facility located in Wharton, Texas that offers a living alternative for those unable to care for themselves.
