ChARM Health integrates with Appriss PMP Gateway Solution for accessing the State's PDMP (Prescription Drug Monitoring Program) data across 38 states.

Prescription drug abuse is a rampant problem, and all 50 states have Prescription Drug Monitoring Programs (PDMPs) that actively track in-state prescriptions. With access to real-time PDMP data from multiple states at the point of care, health-care providers can intervene for patient safety. It also helps providers obtain an insight into patients' purchasing patterns, to help uncover and prevent potential controlled substance abuse.

Currently, 38 states are integrated through Appriss with PDMP, and enable providers to prescribe and dispense controlled substances in compliance with state regulations. The integration of PDMP interface automates the search of patients' PDMP data and makes it readily available for quick access within the daily work-flow of the providers. Providers can simultaneously review a patient’s medical records and PDMP data for controlled substance drug transactions and possible Opioid abuse.
