The Thanksgiving ‘Breakfast Table,’ A Tradition Of The First Responders Children’s Foundation

New York, Nov 21, 2018 (Issuewire.com) - The First Responders Childrens Foundation (FRCF) will host its Annual Thanksgiving Breakfast at the Bryant Park Grill on Thanksgiving morning. Now in its 18th year, the organization will share the spirit of the holiday season and the support of a caring community with the families of first responders who were lost or disabled in the line of duty.

The FRCF along with 1300 invited guests will recognize a remarkable woman and two young adults at an Awards Ceremony during breakfast. The FRCF Public Service Hero Award will be presented to Suffolk County Commissioner Geraldine Hart for her years of service in the FBI and for her appointment as the first female Police Commissioner in Suffolk County. Christina Lettich, also a Long Island resident, will receive the Victoria Ovis Memorial Scholarship Award, an annual scholarship https://nleafcf.org/scholarships/victoria-ovis-memorial-scholarship/. The 2018 Awards Ceremony will also include remarks from FRCF Founder Al Kahn, FDNY Commissioner Daniel Nigro, NYPD Commissioner James ONeill, and Port Authority Police Superintendent Edward Cetnar. Nayyar Iman, Chaplain of the Suffolk County Police Department, will give the closing blessing. Guests will also enjoy a performance by Delilah Pellow who portrays the young Anastasia in the Broadway musical of the same name, along with her sister, Josephine Pellow

Breakfast and the Awards Ceremony will be hosted at the Bryant Park Grill in Bryant Park, Guests will also enjoy an exclusive front-row view of the parade as it passes along 6th Avenue between 40th and 42nd Streets.
